About Us

Welcome to Law Forum!

Law Forum is a lawyers-led not-for-profit initiative to facilitate collaboration and drive transformative change in the nation through law and legal reforms. Our digital platform facilitates seamless connect and collaboration between clients and lawyers. We also collaborate with different stakeholders including the government, policymakers, the judiciary, legal practitioners and the general public through workshops, seminars and outreach programmes to explain the law and its workings. Our objective is to make law inclusive and affordable. We believe that everyone should be able to access and understand the laws that govern them at affordable cost, ideally free. We carry out this vision by:

  • Creating multi-media materials that help people understand the law
  • Organising discussions, dialogue and workshops on legal issues
  • Providing an open forum for common people to raise their issues and opinion about legal challenges
  • Exploring new technologies and providing an open platform to make it easier for people to access legal help

Our Team

Gyanendra Kumar Keshri, Secretary

Gyanendra Kumar Keshri has nearly 20 years of experience in media, consultancy and law. He has worked abroad for 4 years and travelled and done media reporting from different locations, including the Middle East, Pakistan, Africa and Europe. Gyanendra has also done extensive field studies and grassroots level assessments and evaluations of governance projects across the country. Gyanendra is a Post Graduate in Mass Communication and Graduate in economics and laws (LLB). He also holds Diploma in Financial Management from UK’s Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Post Graduate Diploma in English Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).

Dr Praveen K Singh, Chief Editor

Dr Praveen K Singh has more than two decades of experience in journalism, research and academics. He is an expert on editorial strategy, media management and social outreach initiatives. He has held senior editorial positions across domains with country’s leading news brands including The Indian Express, The Times of India, India Today and Zee News. A member of the International Journalists Federation, Brussels, Dr. Singh is on the Executive Committee of the National Union of Journalists (India). He is a regular panelist and is being called upon to speak at various international forums and global summits.

Pallavi Shree, Director

Pallavi Shree has over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. Pallavi has worked with leading multi-national companies including BNY Mellon, Bechtel Corporation, Kronos Solutions and Genpact. Pallavi holds Master in Commerce from Delhi University and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Finance from Indian School of Business and Finance (affiliated to London School of Economics). Pallavi writes regularly on the issues related to women empowerment and social inclusion.
